Eun-Sil Kim

Eun-Sil Kim headshotEun-Sil Kim is a professor at the Judicial Research and Training Institute (JRTI) of the Supreme Court of Korea, a position she has held since 2009. Dr. Kim is also the Director of the International Judicial Cooperation Center of the JRTI. In recent years, she has been involved extensively in collaboration with foreign judiciaries and judicial training institutions. Previously, Professor Kim worked as a judicial law clerk in the Supreme Court of Korea’s Research Division. She is also a member of the Illinois State Bar.

Dr. Kim has held teaching positions at Chung-Ang University Law School, Soong-sil University, Konkuk University, and Sangmyung University, and has authored more than 20 articles published in major law journals and other publications. She is also on the reviewing committee for the JISTAP journal.

Professor Kim graduated from the University of Iowa with Honors and earned her Juris Doctor and Master of Law degrees from the Indiana University, Maurer School of Law. She also holds a Ph.D. in Law from the Yonsei University, South Korea.
