
Clara Carulla Terricabras (born in Barcelona, Spain) is a jurist with an extensive career in the judiciary and judicial training. She joined the Spanish judiciary in 2001, serving as a magistrate until 2015, when she was appointed by the General Council of the Judiciary to the Spanish Judicial School.
Since July 2024, she has been the Acting Director of the Judicial School and holds the position of Secretary General of the Ibero-American Network of Judicial Schools (RIAEJ).
Accredited as a Human Rights trainer by the Council of Europe (HELP Programme), she also represents Spain at the European level within the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN).
Specialized in judicial training, she has been a speaker at numerous conferences, seminars, and courses across Spain, Europe, and Latin America. She has also directed and lectured in various programs organized by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) in Colombia and Guatemala.
She has worked as an international consultant in Twinning projects in Turkey and as an expert advisor in technical assistance programs for the judiciary in Peru, Bolivia, and Albania. Additionally, she has contributed as an evaluator in the reaccreditation process of the RIAEJ, being appointed as a peer evaluator for the National School of the Judiciary of the Dominican Republic.
